All You Need to Know About Temp Mail
What is Temp Mail?
Temp Mail (or disposable email) is a short-lived email address generated instantly to receive communications. It protects your real address from being exposed to potential spam, newsletters, or malicious threats when signing up on unverified websites.
How to Use it?
Using Temp Mail is incredibly straightforward: copy the generated temporary email address shown at the top of the page, paste it into the registration form or email input of your choice, and wait for the inbox pane below to automatically refresh with your incoming emails.
Is it Secure?
Absolutely. Your temporary address is private, and all emails received are permanently deleted from our server cache precisely 10 minutes after delivery. The email viewer is fully sandboxed, preventing tracking scripts and malicious cross-site scripting from running in your browser.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long do temporary email addresses last?
The temporary addresses generated last for the duration of your browser session. You can switch between previous addresses generated in your session. However, the emails received in those boxes are strictly deleted after 10 minutes from receipt both server-side and client-side.
Can I send emails from my temporary address?
No. To ensure our server IP addresses are not blocked or flagged as spam, sending emails is completely disabled. The service is receive-only.
Can I download my emails before they disappear?
Yes, absolutely! Each email has a "Backup (.TXT)" button. Clicking this button immediately downloads a formatted text file containing the Subject, From, To, and parsed Body details of the email, preserving it on your computer indefinitely.
Do you store logs of my IP or emails?
We value user privacy. Email messages are kept only in temporary server memory and are permanently purged after 10 minutes. Minimal connection logs may be stored to defend against website abuse and enforce generation rate limits, but they are never sold or shared.
